Houston Domino Club promotes domino as both a competitive sport and a cultural discipline, fostering the comprehensive development of athletes, organized competition, and community integration, in accordance with the guidelines of Domino USA and the International Domino Federation (FID).
The Houston Domino Club is officially recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3), effective January 22, 2024.
Houston Domino Club is a continuously growing sports community made up of athletes, families, and partners who promote domino as a competitive mental discipline in the city of Houston, Texas.
Houston Domino Club took part in the 21st World Domino Championship, held in October 2025 at the Puerto Rico Convention Center. The event brought together more than 500 athletes from 22 countries. The club was represented by seven (7) athletes: Marly Naranjo, Luz Marina Morales, Miguel González, Russel Rodríguez, Agustín Romero, Humberto Ortiz, and José Antonio Cermeño, who competed with dedication in both individual and mixed team events, alongside players from other regions of Texas, such as Dallas and Killeen.
Over the three days of competition, the team demonstrated strong sportsmanship, gained valuable international experience, and received recognitions including awards for sportsmanship and top regional performance, strengthening the club’s competitive projection and overall positioning.
